Safety Concerns When Taking Gingko Biloba

There is limited to no information in regards to children, pregnant and/or nursing women and Gingko Biloba use. Caution use with bleeding disorders (as it can affect clotting), diabetes (as it can affect blood glucose levels), people with epilepsy (as it may increase the frequency of seizures).

Stop taking this medication at least two weeks before any surgery. Due to the bleeding concerns.

Avoid consuming fresh Gingko seeds. And roasted Gingko seeds.

Before taking this medication let your medical professional know if you are on any anti-seizure, blood thinners (such as aspirin), non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), phenothiazines, and tricyclic antidepressants.
